New Albums: Spoon and Los Campesinos!



I do realize this is old news, but it is to good to pass up not talking about. The almighty Spoon will be releasing their 7th album, Transference, on January 25, 2010 on Merge Records. Anyone who does not understand why I am excited about this, it's Spoon people! The track list follows, along with live mp3s from the lovely people at Stereogum of some upcoming tracks preformed live. Also the band today has released the a new song from the album on their Myspace. Titled "The Mystery Zone", apparently the band really loved that piano on "Ghost of You Lingers". Expect cover art and tour dates to come soon.

Also Los Campesinos! have released the track list and title of their new album, Romance is Boring. It will be rleased on Febuary 1 in the UK and January 26 in the US and Canada (Yea!) the band has alos announced a UK tour for the album, to take place early next year (Boo!).
