Thanks to the wonderful Georgia of Microphone Memory Emotion fame, every blogger is developing their new lo-fi obsession with No Joy. Two girls who make music that is equal parts Best Coast surf catchiness and vibe along with an apprent shoegaze and noise rock love as well. It's a really different take on the genre and one I like a lot, so I can't wait for these girls to make some more. So far they only have a these two very addictive songs to download from their Bandcamp page, and an apprent cassingle version of them that I don't know how to get. I expect some single labels to start asking them to release some new stuff soon.
