The Pains of Being Pure at Heart to Tour, Release New Single



I like The Pains of Being Pure at Heart. They craft really sweet, really good nosiy indie-pop and they manage to do it right. Their show with Cymbals Eat Guitars and Depreciation Guild this past September was a pretty great one at that. So, it's nice after not hearing from them in a while to get news like this. The band will be going on a summer tour this June, with who else but Sufer Blood as well as Hooray for Earth. And while they are not coming anywhere near Texas, I am sure they will be definitly shows to catch in the hot summer. To go along with it, they are also release a brand- spanking new 7-inch titled "Say No to Love" b/w "Lost Saint" on Slumberland June 08. It will be on green vinyl (yea!) and apparently is slightly more hi-fi. Fingers crossed that is not a bad thing. That's the cover art above, with tour dates below:
